Odil Elias

Odil Issa Elias, aged 82, of Barracks Hill, Christ Church, entered into rest on May 13, 2023.
Born on May 16, 1940, in Amioun, Lebanon to Habib and Yasmine Issa. He immigrated to Barbados in 1966, becoming a prosperous entrepreneur devoted to his family’s welfare and traditions.

He was a dedicated father and friend who was loved beyond measure. Odil was and continues to be the light of his family. His inspiring spirit will eternally live on in those who cherished him.

He is survived by his wife, Laila Elias. Children: Halla Elias, Judyann Ruderman, Suzanne Walker, and Andre Elias. Sons-in-law: Christopher Walker, William Calvert and Loren Ruderman. Grandchildren: Kristen and Joshua Walker, Oden and Ciel Calvert, Maya and Ava Ruderman and Riley Elias.
Brother of the late Fauzi Elias, Elia Issa, Yvonne Rizk and Souha Najjar.
Uncle and friend to many.

A service of celebration will be held on Thursday May 25, 2023, at the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens at 10:00 a.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home by 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. In Odilโ€™s honour donations towards Variety – The Childrenโ€™s Charity will also be graciously accepted after his service.
