The Hunte’s Family (Christopher, Inez, Conrad, Schantel & Noah) sends its deepest and sincere condolences to the Gill Family on hearing of the death of our beloved Palma. As always our childhood memories of Palma begin i. Marchfield, St. Philip, surrounded by his late parents, George Gill and Eugene Gill; his late Grandmother, Maude Hunte and all siblings. Palma was his grandmother’s favorite. He was always sharing and caring. Often he would give his grandmother some of his food unknown to his mother. On a more personal note, Palma and I were closed together in age and size and spent much time climbing our clammy Cherry Tree. Of course, this were at times when neither Merty & Gill were not at home. His Dad, a strict disciplinarian, who made sure that Palma and his brothers and sisters attended Sunday School every Sunday at the Pilgrim Holiness Church and received a good education. All of them got to ride on his bicycle to and from church and school. When the raining was coming, they could not get wet; because in those days, if you gotten wet, you will catch a cold. Palma, grew up be very quiet and peaceful. The Hunte’s Family knows that he is resting peaceful and is praying for comfort to his sons Blades, Omar and Troy; his bothers and sister, other family members and friends. May God give you peace and comfort. And may His love abide with you always.
