CORBIN – PEARL BERNADINE, aged 93, of #25 Stratford Hill, Pinelands, St. Michael and formerly of Josey Hill, St. Lucy, entered into rest on Monday, July 01, 2019. A faithful member of St. Barnabas Anglican Church and it’s Mothers’ Union and former Shop Assistant of General Traders Limited.

Daughter of the late Samuel and Eloise “Lee” Corbin of Josey Hill, St. Lucy. Mother of Steve Corbin (formerly of Texaco Eastern Caribbean Limited) and the late Bertie “Bob” Corbin (Technician). Adoptive Mother of Cleaverson Small. Grandmother of Ricardo, Rhenaka and Dr. Ericka Corbin. Sister of Gloria O’Neale and the late Lionel Corbin and Dorothy Walkes. Cousin of the late John Ashby Hinds (retired Senior Superintendent RBPF). Aunt of Losanta Corbin -Balanos, Janice Brathwaite, David O’Neale, Antonia Dorne and many others. Great Aunt of Sherine Alleyne, Jillian Banfield, Dr. Jasmine Brathwaite and many others. Relative of the Bynoe, Collymore and Boyce families of St. Lucy. Friend of Aleta Cummins, Wilma Small, Judy Cave, Deborah Dunnah and family, the Stratford Hill Community, Father Mark Harewood and the St. Barnabas Church family. Special thanks to Dr. Walkes, Dr. Greenidge, Dr. St. John and the nurses of Ward B7 of the Queen Elizabeth Hospital.

The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Friday, July 12, 2019, for St. Barnabas Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service and interment.  Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late Pearl Bernadine Corbin will repose at St. Barnabas Anglican Church on Friday, July 12, 2019, from 1:30 – 3:30 p.m.
