It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of RALPH DEVERNE RAMSAY of Walkers, St. Andrew who served as a Senior Technician at Barbados Light & Power. He was an active member of the New Dimension Ministries and Children’s Church.
Son of Alfred and Pastor Daphne Ramsay.
A devoted husband to Carole Ramsay
Father of Tuwana King.
Brother of Una Chandler (United Kingdom) Dorcas, David, Sherwin, Ryburn, Joyce Ramsay (Rev.), as well as the late Carson and Glenville Ramsay.
Uncle of Colleen, Louise, Esther, Nigel and Rodney Chandler (deceased) of (United Kingdom).
Beloved uncle of Karen, Darren, Wren, Neil, Justin, Shayle, and Chetwyn Ramsay et.al.
Brother-in-law of Jenny and Hyacinth Ramsay, Levita, Michelle (United Kingdom) et.al.
Nephew of Pastor Myra Payne.
Cousin of Kenneth Mayers, Valdine & Deryck Payne, Andrew Lammy and Mavis Best et.al. and the extended families of Lammy, Williams, Ramsay, King, Arthur, Yarde and Langaigne.
Cherished friend to Joyce Knight, (Care Group Family), Desiree, Chris, Khismar, among others.
Godfather to Richelle, Hope among others.

A service of celebration and gratitude will be held on Friday, February 21, 2025 at New Dimension Ministries and Children’s Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to St. Andrew’s Churchyard for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday. The body of the late Ralph Deverne Ramsay will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, February 20, 2025 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
