Sister of Evangeline Layne Pilgrim (London), Edna Layne Small (BostonFlorida), Esther Layne Craig RN, PA (NY), Rev. Harold Layne, PC 138 Barbados Police Force (Ret.), Dr. Edward A. Layne, Honorary Consul for Barbados to Atlanta, Georgia, the late Winifred Layne Alleyne (London), Enid Layne (Enterprise Road, Christ Church), Richard Layne (Brooklyn, NY) and Cleveston Layne and Helena Layne Moore (both of Atlanta Georgia). Sister-in-law of Loletha Maynard Layne RN, Otis Maynard Layne and Atty. Bernadine Hood Layne (Atlanta). Aunt of Joy Anne Layne Marshall, Sasha Layne Robertson (NY), Marcia Layne Robinson, Sharon Layne Villalovas, Gail Layne Hudlin RN, Trudy Layne Crichlow, Sonia Layne Johnson RN, Nicole Layne (Atlanta), Carol Moore Archer RN, Trichia Moore Foster (Charlotte, NC), Deborah Layne Smith (Virginia), Oswin Layne Foster (Atlanta), Seth Layne (Brooklyn, NY), Aidan Alleyne (Boston), Patrick Pilgrim (London), Roger and Wayne Moore, Darnley Moore, Jr. (Charlotte, SC), Benjamin Small (Florida), Edward Layne Jr. and the late Mark Layne. She is also survived by many cousins, great-nieces, great-nephews, great-grand nieces and great-grand nephews and by hundreds of church colleagues, admirers and friends around the globe, too numerous to mention.The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Saturday, October 15, 2016, for Church of God, Silver Sands, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to the Christ Church Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Saturday. The body of the late Rev. Muriel Evelyn Layne will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, October 14, 2016, from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m.
