BATSON- RICHARD McDONALD, aged 72, late of North Wildey, St. Michael, entered into eternal rest on Wednesday November 16, 2022. Former supervisor at The Pinehill Diary.
Son of the late Charles and Lillian Batson. Husband of Angela Batson. Father of Andrea Archer, Richelle Hinds and Aaron Batson. Grandfather of Simone, Amiah, Nylah, Micah, Arianna and Aria. Great-grandfather of Zaiden. Brother of Wesley, Margaret, John, Hazel, Phillip, Austin and the late Norman, Ernest, Cynthia and Charles. Brother-in-law of Coral, Tyrone, Juta, Cheryl and Marceline. Father-in-law of Paul Archer. Uncle and great-uncle of many loving nieces and nephews in Barbados, USA and England. Friend to William Skinner, Grantley Downes, Phil and Fran Unsworth, Cobin Hinds, Neville Hunte, Byron and Coral Lewin and many others.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022 at Collymore Rock Church of the Nazarene, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Monday. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
