My condolences go out to Robert Kirby's family and loved ones.

My first job out of college was at R.S. Kirby & Co., the firm founded by Robert and I have always looked back at those years as some of the most enjoyable and fulfilling of my life; it was such a great work experience. Robert was a fine art collector and supporter and the paintings that hung on the office walls back then sparked my own interest in art that has brought me much pleasure in the years since. Through his work and his firm, Robert influenced many young lives and a generation of professionals that have served this nation well and continue to do so.

May he rest in peace and rise on glory.

Sending my love, prayers and sympathy to you all. Robert was a great man- always very supportive to me - an incomer from Scotland. He always asked how things were going in St Patrickโ€™โ€™s School and enjoyed hearing about the children. I loved the glint in his eye and his wee smile enjoying time in his house with him and Jennifer. โ€˜Ve just noticed his birthday is the Feast of St Francisโ€ฆ. As a franciscan I will remember him yearly. Sr Mgt Mary sends her love n prayers too.
