RODERICK CAMERON HUTSON, aged 94, of Middleton, New York, born September 22, 1931, entered into rest on December 11, 2025.
Former member of The Royal Barbados Police Band and a Merchant Marine Seaman on Harris Lines.
Husband of Mona Hutson (USA). Father of Sherman and Ronald Hutson and Sheree Hutson-Jackson (USA). Brother of Daryl Hutson (London) and Orendelle Hutson. Predeceased brother of Alan, Lloyd and Gerald Hutson. Grandfather of Sacha Jackson, Sherman Hutson Jr., Jamaal and Jerome Jackson, Jaimee and Justin Hutson. Great-grandfather of Masiah, Felicity, Julissa, Silva and Abbey Hutson (Aus), Ava and Anai Jackson and Jordan Ruiz. Uncle of many.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, March 27, 2026 at the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Friday.
