To the Commissioner of Police, Barbados Police Service, on the Passing of Inspector Rodney Inniss

It is with a heavy heart that I extend my sincere condolences and deepest sympathy to the family, friends, and colleagues of the late Inspector of Police, Mr. Rodney Inniss. His passing is a profound loss, not only to those who knew and loved him personally but also to the entire Barbados Police Service and the wider community he served with such unwavering dedication.

As a former police officer, I mourn the loss of an exemplary officer and gentleman. Inspector Innis embodied the highest standards of professionalism, integrity, and commitment to duty. Throughout his distinguished career, he demonstrated an unwavering passion for service, a deep sense of responsibility, and an unyielding devotion to justice. His leadership, wisdom, and mentorship impacted many within the force, leaving an indelible mark on those who had the privilege to work alongside him.

Beyond his uniform, Inspector Innis was a man of honour, humility, and kindness. His legacy is one of service and sacrifice, and his contributions to law enforcement in Barbados will never be forgotten.

May his family, friends, and fellow officers find comfort in the cherished memories of his life and service. His spirit will continue to inspire those who follow in his footsteps.

Rest in peace, Inspector Innis. Your dedication and service will forever be remembered.

Respectfully,

From a former brother-in-arms,

Ryan Bartlett, former police officer No: 1271. Course No: 106.
