Wife of the late Gordon Weekes.
Daughter of Agnes McDowall and Freddie Dorset.
Beloved Mother of Andre McDowall (Moore Paragon (C’bean) Ltd), Kwame McDowall, Lanialle Weekes (Teacher, Ministry of Education) and the late Dennis McDowall.
Loving Grandmother of Aaliyah McDowall, Aquan Crichlow and Kimani McDowall.
Sister of Orlean Merry (Tortola), Joycelyn Frasier, Susan John, Isola Davis, Anthony Davis, Gazelle McDowall (Canada), Maureen Toney (Trinidad), Sandra Peters (New York), Monique Glasgow (St. Vincent) and others.
Aunt of many nieces and nephews in Barbados, Canada, USA, England, Tortola and St. Vincent.
Cousin of many.
Relative of the McDowall, Dorset and King families.
Friend of the Sealy, Best, Howard and Griffith families, the Flagstaff Community and others.
The funeral of the late Romaina Weekes leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Tuesday, May 2, 2023 for The People’s Cathedral where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 12:50 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 9:00 a.m. on Tuesday. Mourning colours are optional. The body of the late Romaina Weekes will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Monday, May 1, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.

Trevor the family and I extend our deepest sympathies to the entire family on the passing of Romaina. We have pleasant memories of her in the earlier days of swimming.
