Ronald Turk

RONALD JOHN TURK, age 84, passed away peacefully on January 19, 2025, at his home in Atlantic Shores Christ Church.

Ron is survived by his wife of 64 years Jeannette Turk née Sealy, his two sons Robert and Russell, and his siblings Paulette, Cindy, and John, along with numerous nieces and nephews.
Ron was born in Sheboygan, Wisconsin and joined the US Navy upon graduating from high school. His first post was in Barbados where in 1959, he met his future wife, Jeannette. He served honourably in Vietnam. After various postings in the US, he started his own company Caribbean Cabinets in Barbados. He was a member of the Rotary Club of Barbados for over 20 years where he received the Paul Harris Fellowship award. He was also a member of the Barbados Yacht Club for over 40 years where he pursued his passion for sailing.

A celebration of Ronald’s life will be held on Saturday, February 8, 2025, at The Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 12:00 p.m. Mourning attire is optional. The family requests that donations be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados in lieu of flowers.

But as he bade them goodbye, he promised, “I will come back to you again, if it is God’s will.” Then he set sail from Ephesus. Acts 18:21
