Samuel Mason

The family of SAMUEL ‘CONRAD’ MASON announces his passing on Wednesday, September 10, 2025.
A proud Grenadian by birth and allegiance, Conrad moved to Barbados with his wife and family in 1980 where he held several fulfilling professional roles, eventually retiring from the Caribbean Conference of Churches.
Conrad leaves behind his beloved wife, Louise Mason; his children, Jay Shoji Mason (Ayanna) and Aliza Mason de Coteau (Diego); and his grandson, Kai—all of whom will miss him deeply.
Beloved brother of Dr. Gloria Mason-Thomas (Hayden) of Antigua and Barbuda, Cecily ‘Nell’ Mason of Canada, Dr. George Mason (Joan) of Trinidad and Tobago, and Maria Noel (Vincent deceased) of Grenada; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Gerald and Ivy Mason and in-laws- May De Coteau and Celia St. Bernard. He was related to the Mason, Bullen and DeCouteau families of Grenada and St. Lucia, and the St Bernards of Canada.
Cherished friend of the Neckles, Berkley, O’Neale, Griffith, Remy and Best families. He leaves a strong legacy through his work with the Grenada Association of Barbados.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on, Monday, September 22, 2025 at the Chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m.
