SAMUEL RANDOLPH PILGRIM, affectionately known as “Pilly”, “Ranny” and “Bercou”, age 84, of #99 Joypa Drive, Frere Pilgrim, Christ Church entered peacefully into rest on Tuesday, January 25, 2022 at the QEH. Retired employee of Banks (Barbados) Breweries Ltd.
Son of the late Gwendolyn Pilgrim and Louis Piggott.
Beloved Father of Virginia and Keith Clarke (USA), Sandra Clarke Agard (USA), Deborah Carmichael, Michelle Adaszynski (Australia), Cheryl and Gregory Gaskin and Donna Gaskin (Canada).
Grandfather of Nandi and Amanda Clarke, Alicia Agard, Ian Gaskin, Chaka Bedward, Vernon Worrell, Jason, Kevin, Orlanda, Sharice and Cherika Gaskin, Lisa Lowe-Clarke, Edward Ondre and Dwayne Gaskin.
Great-grandfather of many.
Brother of Sheila Pilgrim (SejuSelektion Florist), Lorraine Piggott and the late St. Clair Pilgrim.
Uncle of Juliet Knight, Alston Evelyn (USA) and Herman Joseph.
Nephew of Eunice Shepherd, the late Daphne, Egbert and Eudora McCarthy.
Companion of Monica “Pat” Howell.
Relative of the Shepherd, McCarthy, Gittens, Piggott, Montrose and Kaaba families.
Friend of Greenidge, Pilgrim, Reid and Woody.
A graveside service will be held on Monday, March 14, 2022 at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 10:00 a.m. on Monday. The body of the late Samuel Pilgrim will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
