Mother-in-Law of Dr Akisha Glasgow Austin and Diliah Nero Austin
Grandmother of Sloane, Crystal-Marie, Tyrique, Johnathan, Jasmine, Azaria, Nevaeh and Aiden.
Great-grandmother of Journie.
Sister of Sandra, Wayne and Desmond Hazlewood, and the late Laura Jones and Noel King.
Aunt of Maurisee, Brian, Kai, John, Lana, Giselle, Melinda and many others.
Sister-in-law of Maria Waithe, Eudene Harewood, Barbara Best, Gloria Sealy, the late Cameron Austin, Dr Gregory Austin, and John Jones.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at the St Dominic’s Ro-man Catholic Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers a donation will be collected for the Diabetes and Hypertension Association of Barbados. The body of the late Shirley Austin will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, December 20, 2024, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. No mourning colours by special request.
