Shirley rest in eternal peace my friend. You will be missed by your AX sisters with whom you shared love, happiness, and tears. A friendship that will continue as we keep your memories alive. Stay safe until we meet again.
I send my condolences to Antonio, all family members and friends at Shirley's passing. I pray for God's comfort at this sad and difficult time. This devastating news took me by surprise, and I am deeply saddened. We only recently reconnected after losing touch through immigration as teenagers. I will forever cherish the memories of our years of friendship, and her beautiful smile and laughter. Rest in peace my dearly beloved, till we meet again.... From Sigrid-Lord-Ray and the entire Lord family.
I met Shirley and Tony through mutual friends in Maryland. Shirley had a warm, kind and loving spirit. May light perpetual shine upon her and may her soul rest in peace.
Tony and Shonelle, I cannot begin to share with you how sorry I am for your loss. Shirley was a wonderful and very dear friend, more like a sister to me. I will miss our talks, laughs, and her insightful advice. She had a big heart that was full of love. She showed love in her daily living, not waiting for some special occasion. She brought light and a sense of calm with her presence. Please know I will continue to keep you both in my prayers as you adjust to life without her physical presence, but never without her spiritual presence. Much love to you both.
Even as I am shedding tears for my dear friend, I am honoured to remember her as one of the best persons Iโve ever met.
Tony, Shonelle and the entire family, may all your wonderful memories comfort you during this heartbreaking time.
Shirls! RIP and rise in glory.
May the peace of God which passes all understanding, keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God and of his son Jesus Christ our Lord๐
Heartfelt condolences to Tony, Shonelle and family. Sending warm hugs as you mourn and may you find comfort and strength in this challenging time. Rest in sweet peace Shirls๐๐๐ค

Topic: Grieving Differently with COVID 19
In this Social Work Season 2021 of Love and Loss ... Sunday March 21 takes us to a place of 'Loss'
'Ubuntu' I am because We are standing on the foundation built by Social Worker Legends. Much of today is being built on COVID 19. It has caused much delayed grief, new funeral arrangements and new fears to enter a funeral home or to touch a loved one.
To take us through this COVID 19 Grieving differently is Mr. Peter Griffith, Funeral Director of Lyndhurst Funeral Home.
