Simeon Franklyn

SIMEON ADOLPHUS FRANKLYN, late of Palm Springs, Fortesque, St. Philip and formerly of Chapel Land, St. Philip and the Uk, entered peacefully into rest on May 26, 2023 at age 84.
Son of the late Avis and Clifford Franklyn.
Beloved brother of Lolita (retired worker of the Child Care Board) and Errol Franklyn (retired worker of the BWA), Patsy and Urban Luke and the late James, St. Clair, Vincent, Carlton, Sylvia, Millicent and Leomie Franklyn and Myrtle Grosvenor.
Uncle of Veronica, Carson, Simon (Autobody Shop), Anthony, Whitfield, Hyacinth, Wilfred, Roslyn, Reginald, Antonia, Shirley, Emmerson, Lionel, Sylvia and Janetha Franklyn, Cheryl Franklyn-Yarde, Verona Moore, Alan Thorpe and many others.
Great-uncle of Dwayne (Ocean 2 Hotel), Katrina, Tyrone and Simorio Franklyn, Simona Franklyn-Jarvis, Rosemary Moore, Leeanda Gay, Shanna Mottley, Jason Gibson, Akeil Miller and many others.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023 at the St. Philip Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 12:30 p.m. on Friday. The body of the late Simeon Adolphus Franklyn will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, June 22, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Mourning colours are optional by special request.
