Dear Heavenly Father, In this time of deep sorrow, please wrap Your loving arms around Natalie and all of Stephen’s family. Grant them comfort that surpasses understanding, strength for each difficult step ahead and peace to steady their hearts. May the cherished memories of Stephen bring light into this darkness and may they feel Your presence near today and in the days to come.
Your memory will always bring a smile to my face. The day you simply had to taste Hawiian Tropic suntan lotion at Sandy Lane because it smelled so much like Bounty Bars. You then spent the rest of the afternoon spitting it out. How I laughed! Then there were those weekday mornings Coopers & Lybrand when you would breeze into the offices, always a smile on your face and greeting every female colleague by guessing what perfume she was wearing from ten feet away. You were never wrong and it would lift the mood of the whole place. And how could I forget the rugby matches? You disappearing into the distance as you ran down the wing playing for Barbados Under 19s. I was never quick enough to keep up so it was always only your back I ever saw. Rest in peace, my old friend.

It is such an honour to call Stephen my cousin.
You could not meet a more hilarious yet so genuine guy.
Rachelle, Robert, Sean, Aunt Morva, Bruce & Sue, Natalie & Peter and Gregory and families.
I know your hearts are broken and he will be deeply missed, but Stephen’s memory will be with you always and if you imagine him in the same room he will be cracking jokes or having a laugh at your expense, (with so much love of course).
Even though we are on the other side of the world, we send all our love and sincerest condolences to your families at this sad time.

In this Social Work Season 2021 of Love and Loss ... Sunday March 21 takes us to a place of 'Loss'
'Ubuntu' I am because We are standing on the foundation built by Social Worker Legends. Much of today is being built on COVID 19. It has caused much delayed grief, new funeral arrangements and new fears to enter a funeral home or to touch a loved one.
