SYBIL AILLIEEN KING, aged 83, also known as “Sister” of Jericho near Market Hill, St. George, fell asleep at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital on October 18, 2022.
Daughter of the late Isaac and Stella King.
Mother of Shelley Simmons (Simmons Electrical Co Ltd) and Lurleen Sobers (Massy Distribution B’dos Ltd).
Grandmother of Javon Clarke, Shaariq and Shalani Simmons and Tayvion Sobers.
Great-Grandmother of Jatarrah Clarke.
Sister of Norma Davis (USA) Anderson and Janice King, the late Waple, Winston, Anthony, Deborah and Ezra King.
Aunt of Colbert, Desmond and Jamielle King, Everton Hoyte, Jacqueline Brathwaite, Stacey King and many others.
Mother-in-law of Allan Simmons (Simmons Electrical Co Ltd) and Sherwin Sobers (Fiberpol).
Relative of the King, Lythcott and Sealy families.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022 at St. Augustine Anglican Church, Market Hill, St. George, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. for the service, followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 1:00 p.m. on Friday. The body of the late Sybil Aillieen King will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, November 3 from 4:00 – 6:00p.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
