Widow of Henson Husbands.Beloved and treasured mother of Sandra Husbands, Deirdre Harris and JanMarie Gabler.Loving sister of Mr. Greville Clarke, Mrs. Erma Taylor, Mrs. Aurie Wilson, Mr. Henderson Layne, the late Mr. Cyril Parris and Mr. Dennis Clarke.Doting grandmother of Andrew Gabler and Kei Harris.Great-grandmother of Mary Gabler.Relative of the Clarke, Nicholls, Wilson, Parris, Husbands, Burnham, Alfred and Woods families.The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Wednesday, July 26, 2017, for Abundant Life Assembly, Bank Hall, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. for the service, followed by a private cremation. Tributes will commence at 1:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Myasthenia Gravis Association of Barbados would be graciously accepted.

Our Deepest sympathies and condolences to her daughters, the family, church, colleagues, relatives and friends on the loss of Velda Husbands. She was a lady of the highest principles and was a very respected and loved person. We are guided by the overwhelming assurance that she has Eternal Life. She ran her race well. Rest for a Great Resurrection.
