CHARLES – VERA ELAINE, aged 83, of Kingsland Terrace, Christ Church entered into rest on March 26, 2020. Well-known seamstress formerly of Bayland. Former employee of the Psychiatric Hospital. Mother of Anthony Codrington, Philip and Andrew Charles (all of USA) and Kathy-Ann Charles. Grandmother of Vicki and Lorenzo Charles and Gabriella Codrington (all of USA), Andre Walters and Shakeel Ashby. Great-grandmother of four. Sister of Phyllis Okoro, Marie Codrington, Diana Dottin, Patricia, Pearl and Juanita Blades and the late Frederick Codrington and Vernon Blades. Aunt of Tracy and Ryan Dottin, Corey, Orlando and Adrian Blades, Sean and Selvin Codrington, Edgar Sergant and Llewellyn Holder. Mother-in-law of Stefani and Prudence Charles, Michelle Codrington. The private service and interment for Vera Elaine Charles will take place at the Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens.

To my Codrington ,Blades,Charles and extended family , on the behalf of my family I would like to express our condolences on the loss of my cousin Vera. My time and opportunity of knowing her was a blessing ,I prayer that at this time God will bless you with the strength to sail through this tough situation.
