Vilma Joyce Harris nee Marshall of Waterloo Gardens, Eagle Hall, St. Michael, entered into peaceful rest on July 13, 2026 at the age of 90 years. Retired Electoral Officer and member of the Dalkeith Methodist Church and Dalkeith Women’s League.
Daughter of the late Ernest and Sylvia Marshall.
Wife of the late Dr. Charles McDonald Harris.
Mother of William Harris, Cecile Murrell and Frederick Harris (BLPC, Emera).
Grandmother of Marisha Sobers (Chad Sobers), and Chaz Harris.
Great-grandmother of Alyssa, Alex, Chelsea, and Chloe Sobers.
Sister of Patricia Goddard, the late Errol, Cecil, Norman and Victor Marshall and Lorna Thurmann.
Sister-in=law of Dr. Claudette Harris, Esther, Trevor, Michael and Bernadette Harris, Anthony Pickering, Sylvia Marshall, Jan Thurmann, the late Walter and Victor Harris.

A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 at Bethel Methodist Church, Bay Street, St. Michael, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will the proceed to Westbury Cemetery for the interment.
