late of Newton Terrace, Christ Church, formerly of Hannays, St. Lucy, Oldham, United Kingdom and Beulalin Retirement Retreat
Founder of Cosmopolitan Association and Choir

Daughter of the late Carlotta Broomes and Charles Mahon.
Mother of Linda Griffith-Bowen and Pauline Alleyne (both of Ocean View Nursing Services and Beulalin Retirement Retreat), Yoland and Carl Griffith (UK), the late Harriet Browne and Michael Drummond.
Grandmother of Damian, Zoe, Ricky, Delroy, Beverley, Joanne, Jonathan, Janine, Roxie, Nandi, Shiquita, Divine, Maxwell and Joshua.
Great Grandmother of Nathan, Lydia, Savannah, Halle, Nubiah, Maliah, Aaron, Amelia, Ebony, Caiden, Jayvion, London, Shylan-Amalee, Ashanti, Antonia, Xion, Romii-Rae, Mia and Benni.
Great Great Grandmother of Ava.
Sister of Jeanette Doughty (USA).
Aunt of Isolene, Carmin, Troy, Leo, Dennis and others.
Adoptive Mother of many.
Relative of the Roach, Griffith and Nicholls families
Friend of Dr. Ken McIntyre, Gus Logie, Claudine Squires (USA) and Members of the Cosmopolitan Association and Choir (Oldham, UK), Mrs. Ottley and Staff of Beulalin Retirement Retreat and Annex.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Friday, October 02, 2020 at St. Martin Anglican Church, St. Philip, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. The cortege will then proceed to St. Lucy Parish Church for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Friday. The body of late Violet Elmetha Drummond-Griffith, M.B.E. will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Thursday, October 01, 2020 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
