I first met William at an interview for a summer internship at Price Waterhouse in 1991. It was at that moment our relationship began. He took a keen interest in my professional development and become like a second father to me.
I will share a few of my recollections of William: he never hesitated to let everyone know that he was a simple man from Carlton, Black Rock. His idea of being on vacation was coming to work without a tie. He truly loved and enjoyed what he did. His clients were always top of mind. Not only did we always have lunch together and trust me no lunch was ever about talking about trivial things, but also we spoke every night for at least an hour โ he was relentlessly focused on the business and always was searching for ways to deliver value to his clients. Always unselfish with his knowledge and always willing to learn from others. He never portrayed the image that he knew everything. He went to sleep every night with his clients' problems and will wake up with them every day until he was able to resolve. He would always have a To-Do list in his left top pocket so he kept focus, and it will never be struck off until it was completed. There are so many more things I can say, but I will only say that the best 30 years of my career has been with my mentor, my friend and trusted confidant.
They say the legacy of a man is defined by his impact on others, and in this area, Williamโs contribution stands out. He was a loved teacher, coach, and friend to many within the professional firms he served. He was also above all else a true family man.
With Williamโs passing, Barbados has lost a true gentleman, Denise, a life partner, and Kevin and Stuart, a guiding star. Until we meet again my friend. Forever in my heart and memory.
Rest in eternal peace.

My deepest condolences to Denise, Kevin, Stuart, Andrew and of course the rest of the Family. I am so saddened by William's passing. He was such a gentle and kind man and got to know him well when we were all (his cousin Greg and others!) in the UK at University....made visits to London fun (I was at Uni in Sheffield). Also, when he and Denise lived at Carlton, and I was a regular visitor to Greg and Nicola who lived next door, saw him regularly and watched his young sons grow up. It was a privilege knowing him. May he RIP.

My deepest condolences to the Hutchinson Family. William and I were at school together at Harrison College. I remember him well. We last spoke about a year ago when he shared his medical challenges but was still. Willing to share his advice on a business project. It was his nature to always be positive and helpful. He was a good man. I will cherish the memories of our school days and his passion for the game of cricket. May he rest in peace and may his memory continue to be a blessing to his wife, sons and extended family. In Deo Fides.

Dear Denise and Family
Kindly accept sincerest condolences from the Walwyn family. Karen and I were very saddened to hear of Williamโs passing. He was a wonderful colleague for so many years and I thoroughly enjoyed his company at all times most notably the time we shared whilst he was based in Antigua. Our career paths were very similar, and I respected William immensely.
God bless.
Charles
