Sister of Mendelle, Ricky, Terry and Rawle Bend and the late Charles, John and Martha Gilkes, Mayverne Hope, Junifer Goodridge, Anderson, Jasmay, Lloyd, and Owen Bend. Widow of the late St. Clair DaCosta Tyrone Husbands. Mother of Claire Husbands and the late Britomart Margaret Girard. Grandmother of Seth Johnson. Relative of the Arthur, Beckles, Bend, Benn, Boucher, Bovell, Carter, Collymore, Corbin, Cumberbatch, Gilkes, Goodridge, Hope, Husbands, Johnson, Jordan, Lashley, Mahon, Moses, Newton, Ramsay, Richards, Rock, Sampson, Samuel, Scantlebury, Small, Taitt, Walker, Waterman and Worrell families. Friend of many. A private cremation was held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025.

ENA JOYCE ST. CLARE COLLYMORE WOODSTOCK, OD, MBE Affectionaly known as “EJ” passed away peacefully at her home in Barbados surrounded by loved ones on December 2, 2025 at the age of 108. Ena is predeceased by her husband Horace Victor Woodstock. Ena is survived by her children Careth Woodstock Flash, Robert Woodstock and Marguerite Woodstock Riley KC, sons-in-law Michael Flash and Condé Riley, daughter-in-law Dawn Woodstock, grandchildren Amanda Riley-Jordan, Raisa Lodenquai, Michaela Flash and Spencer Woodstock, grandson-in-law Dr. Ryan Lodenquai, great-grandson Mavi Lodenquai, niece Michelle Anderson and nephew Brian Collymore. Relative of the Collymore, Anderson and Woodstock families. Aunt Ena/EJ to many other relatives and friends. Ena was the oldest surviving British service woman from World War II, the first woman to hold judicial office in Jamaica, Former Chief Commissioner of Girl Guides and a founding member of Soroptomist International Jamaica and the Caribbean. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at The Chapel of Coral Ridge, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. Her interment service will take place on January 26, 2026 at St. Andrew Parish Church, Kingston, Jamaica.

On May 8, 2025 at the age of 96, Dean Carlos (DC) Goddard left this world quietly. We hold close the hope that he was not afraid and was gently accompanied by the spirits of his cherished wife Linda, his brothers Stanley and David, his mother O’Rita and his daughter Bobbie. A true Bajan – born and raised in White Park, St. Michael, Barbados – Dean’s love for the sea, for sailing, yacht racing and boat building (often using his mother’s curtains as sails) was woven into him from childhood. As a Co-Founder of the still-standing Barbados Cruising Club, his crest and trophies remain proudly displayed. It always had to be a sailboat, nothing with a motor, just pure skill on the open blue water. He possessed a brilliant technical mind, a true genius in politics, geography, history and math. He was a walking encyclopedia. Though he left school young to support his mother and siblings, he never held resentment, only determination to take care of his family and this would carry throughout his life.
