A true stalwart of the company who dedicated his working life to the distillery, starting at the age of 16 and serving faithfully until his retirement at age 65. Husband of the late Gwendolyn Hood. Keith Worrell, B.Sc. (Soc.), M.Sc. (Econ.), Lond., Ph.D. SFU Keith Le Vere Worrell born the 1st of June 1936 in Speightstown, Barbados passed away in Toronto, Canada on the 28th of November 2025 at the age of 89 after a long illness. He spent his formative years in Barbados and migrated to Britain at the age of 21 where he first worked on the London Transport System as a bus conductor and eventually as a clerical officer with the Greater London Council, while at the same time remaining focused on obtaining a higher education. Keith studied sociology at the University of London, Goldsmiths College, specialising in industrial sociology. He read development economics at London School of Oriental and African Studies (SOAS) on a Social Science Research Quota award. He later specialised in monetary economics of developing countries at Simon Fraser University in Canada where he also met his wife to be, Catharina. After graduating from Simon Fraser University, he was recruited by the University of the West Indies at the Mona campus in Jamaica where he taught economics at the Department of Management Studies. DR. WINSTON ATTLEE SEALE of Free Hill, St. George, passed away on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital. Dr. Seale, a retired Orthopaedic and Hand surgeon, died after a long fight with Alzheimer’s disease. He was regarded by many as a dedicated surgeon and physician, with a compassionate bedside manner, and as an active member of his community. A kind, humble, and generous man who attempted to improve the lives of all he came in contact with. Dr. Seale is survived by his wife, Patricia, and two sons, Kevin (US) and Dr. Jason Seale (US), and daughters-in-law Carrie (US) and Dr. Lisa Seale (US). He was a proud grandfather of Coyla, Keenan, and Castina (US); a loving uncle to Sonia Seale and Adrian Husbands, Juliet Spencer, Shelly Morris (US), Michelle Husbands (US), Jevon, Kirkland and Lesley Seale, Michelle Henry (US), Stephanie Henry (US), Sharon, Daniel and Joseph Morgan (all of Jamaica), and the late Ryan Coppin and Deborah-Ann Morgan. Ena is predeceased by her husband Horace Victor Woodstock. Ena is survived by her children Careth Woodstock Flash, Robert Woodstock and Marguerite Woodstock Riley KC, sons-in-law Michael Flash and Condé Riley, daughter-in-law Dawn Woodstock, grandchildren Amanda Riley-Jordan, Raisa Lodenquai, Michaela Flash and Spencer Woodstock, grandson-in-law Dr. Ryan Lodenquai, great-grandson Mavi Lodenquai, niece Michelle Anderson and nephews Richard and Brian Collymore. Relative of the Collymore, Anderson and Woodstock families. Aunt Ena/EJ to many other relatives and friends. Ena was the oldest surviving British service woman from World War II, the first woman to hold judicial office in Jamaica, Former Chief Commissioner of Girl Guides and a founding member of Soroptomist International Jamaica and the Caribbean.
