Grandmother of Matthew and Winston Brathwaite. Great grandmother of 6. Sister of Herbert Brathwaite, Francis Griffith, Wilma and Marlene Seales, and the late Gloria Taitt, Winston, Frank and Charles Brathwaite. Niece of many too numerous to mention. Friend to so many. The historian of the family, she was the third of 9 children. She migrated to London in the 1960s, then to the USA in the 1970s. After immigrating to the US, she lived in Baltimore, MD, Brooklyn NY for serval years. Then in 2000 Phyllis moved yet again to Philadelphia, PA where she stayed until she was called home. She was a kind-hearted and caring Mother, Grandmother, Great grandmother, Sister, Aunt, and friend. We love you Phyllis, RIP and God bless.
