BENEDICT KENNETH DESUZE, affectionately known as “Ken/Ken Ken”, aged 85, formerly of Union Lodge, Worthing, Christ Church, entered peacefully into sleep on June 1, 2026. Retired Life Underwriter of Sagicor Insurance Inc. He was a founding member of The Heart and Stroke Foundation of Barbados. Son of the late Carlton and Phyllis DeSuze (Trinidad). Beloved husband of Margot DeSuze. Father of Gina-lee and Sharyn DeSuze. Adoptive Grandfather of Amber, Jade, Krystal, Khalil, Amit and Amiti. Brother of Eileen Gordon, Gemma Seon, Jeffery DeSuze, Clifford DeSuze (deceased) and Judith DeSuze (Trinidad). Uncle of Colin, Gillian, Wayne, Carla, Kevin, Marika and Jacquelyn. DAVID WILLIAM ANTROBUS, also known as ‘Antro,’ of Pleasant Hall Drive, Dayrells Road, St. Michael, entered into rest on May 22, 2026. David was first and foremost a family man who embodied the virtue of ‘Service above Self’. He leaves behind his wife, Denise, three children: Tiffany, Mercedes and Harry, grandson, Sebastian and sister, Joan. David grew up in St. Philip before attending University in the UK, returning to Barbados to work and start a family. Over the next decades, David worked in Barbados, St Lucia and St Maarten before retiring to Barbados in 2021. David will be laid to rest at St. Philip Parish Church on Wednesday, June 17, 2026, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Rotary Trust Fund Projects would be appreciated in the envelopes will be provided at the church.
