Big Nick was a friend and a really good guy..always had that grin on his face and seemed to always have something to laugh at ...we were in 5th form together and while he was originally a year ahead of us was just one of the fellows in 5:4 that year. I saw him on quite a few occasions after and was lucky enough to have had his famous brownies ....a secret recipe I'm sure .... His passion for baking was always evident in the way his eyes lighted up when he spoke of his exploits.... I will truly miss the light that was Nicholas Goddard.

Joe, Grace, Natasha & your family
We have been thinking of you ever since hearing the news of Nicholas. We didn't really know him and hadn't seen him for many years, but (our daughter) Amanda is grateful for "Big Nick's" friendship which helped her through a difficult time when she repeated fourth form at Harrison College.
Mr. Joe, Mrs. Goddard, Natasha - please accept my condolences on Nick's passing. We were in the same year at Harrison College. Nick was a solid guy and though our paths didn't cross too frequently I did follow him as he charted his own path in business.
Very, very sorry to see him go and I wish you all strength at this very sad time. Rest in peace Big Nick xo.

Topic: Grieving Differently with COVID 19
In this Social Work Season 2021 of Love and Loss ... Sunday March 21 takes us to a place of 'Loss'
'Ubuntu' I am because We are standing on the foundation built by Social Worker Legends. Much of today is being built on COVID 19. It has caused much delayed grief, new funeral arrangements and new fears to enter a funeral home or to touch a loved one.
To take us through this COVID 19 Grieving differently is Mr. Peter Griffith, Funeral Director of Lyndhurst Funeral Home.
