I have known Mr. Mayers since 1967. He was our group scout master at St. Ambross Anglican church. Mr. Mayers was my manager at Evelyn Roach & Co.. I sat beside him and Hudson. As a customs clerk I always aimed to please Mr. Mayers by performing my duties to the best of my ability. Mr. Mayers will be greatly missed. My condolences to his family. God Bless.

Rodney was a fierce representative of his charges whether at work or in his many other activities. He wasn't a big man but he had a huge personality and he was fearless.

Condolences to Quinzel and family. Thanks for sharing him with all of us and for the many ways you supported his creative ways to show his love and obedience to God in taking care of, and appreciating others.

Rest in peace Rodney. The world needs more managers like you to rise up and represent.

Sincere Condolences and deepest sympathy to Quinzel and the Mayers family. Rodney was a friend of mine. Rodney was a trusted friend, and a selfless person. I will always remember Rodney helping out my father when my sister Anne died and my mother, my other sister and I was not able to make it back. Rodney helped my father with the arrangements.

For Christians, Christmas is the most joyous time of the year. But death for us always takes our joy away. When our brother Rodney died on December 22, we felt a sense of sadness and loss. This sadness and loss was undoubtedly more profusely felt by those closest and dearest to him.

It is our prayer that you take comfort in knowing that as Christ came to earth to save sinners that Rodney, who patterned his life after Christ, lived a life helping and uplifting his fellow man to better understand himself.

We can say that Christ died to Heaven to be born to earth and Rodney died to earth to be born anew to his Father , whom he served, in Heaven.

Rodney was a husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, cousin and above all a kind hearted friend to all whom he met and who sought his assistance.

We know that he will be missed by all who mourn his passing.

To his wife Quinzel, sons: Timothy, Rodney Jr., Renne, Romeo and daughter Sophia, his grand and great children, other relatives and friends, we extend our sincerest condolences.

Rest in peace, dear friend.

I remember when Rodney joined the then R.S. Kirby & Co., Accountants, situated next to the Bridgetown Club, before moving on to Collymore Rock when the Co merged with PriceWaterhouse, Chartered Accountants. Rodney was Office Manager but wore many hats. We worked together for over 15 years and if I encountered a problem or was unsure how to handle the situation, he would point me in the right direction. Rodney was a tiny man but was a power house with a wealth of knowledge. He was always jovial, cracked lots of jokes with the Secretaries and was a fantastic dancer. I would tease him and called him "Sir Walter Rodney". I attended many a function at "Sandbox Villa". He taught me a lot for which I am eternally grateful.

My sincere condolences to his Wife Quinzel & the entire family. May he rest in peace and rise in glory.
