ALVA EDSON GARNES, better known as “Edson”, aged 78, of Belle Gully, St. Michael, entered into eternal rest on June 04, 2021 at the QEH. Former Employee of the Canadian High Commission. A faithful member of the Abundant Life Assembly.
Beloved Husband of Eudene Garnes.
Father of Natalie, Jennifer, Sandra, Henderson, Ingrid, Michelle, Cheryl-Ann and Dondru.
Grandfather of Olvan, Alden, Rasheena, Rory, Malik, Che, Destiny, Joshua, Nathan and Jamal.
Great-Grandfather of Brandon and Joziah.
Brother of Esther, Lingwood, Shurland, Arlene and the late Marvel, Anderson, Nita and Pearlie.
Uncle of 27.
Father-in-law of Faith, Patrick and Wayne.
Relative of the Steede, Miller and King families.
Friend of the Staff of the Canadian High Commission and many others.
The family invites you to join them for the memorial service via live streaming on Friday, June 25, 2021, at 3:00 p.m. . No flowers by special request. The body of the late Alva Edson Garnes will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, June 23, 2021 from 3:00 – 6:00 p.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
