My deepest condolences to the family. Alvin was a great person with a larger-than-life personality and spirit. I had the pleasure of befriending him in college at Florida Tech. We shared many of the same classes and server on the Residence Life team together from 2009 - 2012 graduation. You could not help but be joyous around him, a true light he was.

GRANT – ALVIN ALEX, 3rd Avenue, Spring Garden, Black Rock, St. Michael, entered into rest on October 16, 2022. Former Employee of I.A.Q Solutions.
Son of Angela Grant and the late Richard Grant.
Brother of the late Andrea Grant. Father of Ajani Clarke. Grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Harper (Heddings, St. Philip). Nephew of Elma Grant, Joyce Grant-Gordon and Colin, Tyrone and Clarence Harper. Godson of Yvette Adams and Robert Hinds. Cousin and Friend of many.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, November 3, 2022 at St. Stephens Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by the interment. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alvin’s honor to the rebuilding of the St. Stephens Parish Church Centre would be gratefully appreciated. No mourning colours by special request. The body of the late Alvin Grant will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 from 3:00 – 5:00 p.m.
