Daughter of Josephine and the late Alfred Murray. Widow of Selvin Burke. Companion of Edwin Deane. Mother of Anthony (Don) Murray, Caroll, Manuel (Monty), Conway, Marlon and Denise Weekes. Adopted Mother of Brent Murphy. Grandmother of Shamani, Isaiah, Daneisha, Ava, Tashante, Josiah, Jediah, Hashianika, Nicholai, Mariah and Kyomi. Sister of Reginald and Monica Weekes, Shirley, Ainsley and Winston Murray, Ricardo and Joanna King. Aunt of Rickey, Latoya, Darnel, Darwin, Sheena, Jason, Janine, Ricardo, Jason, Diego and others. Niece of Hilary Errol Weekes, Judy Weekes-Gill, Monica Addae and Marguerite Weekes. Mother-in-law of Michelle Weekes (USA) and Michel Weekes. Sister-in-law of Michael Burke, Travis and Gaylene Romeo, Marva Sutherland and Ann Weekes. Relative of the Weekes, Murray and Fraser families. Friend of Peter Watkins, Margaret Norville, Margaret Jordan, Barbara Gilkes, Ms. Waithe, Ivy Miller, the Lavine Family, Ridgeway Pinelands community and numerous others. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Tuesday, March 15, 2022 at St. Barnabas Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Tuesday. The body of the late Angela Maria Weekes will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Monday. March 14, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
