I write because I knew Beverley and of course, I know you. I am Jaya's wife, Sonia.
I cannot say I can advise you on what it feels like to lose your significant other. It is awful! I do not know what to tell you about how to deal with it. I have not found the answers. When I do, I will let you know.
Jaya would be just devastated to learn of your loss. He loves you so much. My sister Winsome has kept me up to date and it is times like these that distance does not help.
Your photo holding our son Raji as a baby when you visited Sir Lanka is still proudly in his baby album.
Both children join me in grieving along with you.

Auntie Bev was such a dan! She was wonderful and joyous and her physical absence will be felt by our entire region. I love you all and pray for you all at this terrible time. I have known Lady Waldron for the past ten years, in my capacity as a Child Care Officer. She has worked tirelessly and fought courageously as she defended the vulnerable children of Barbados. You have been inspiration in so many way; I will miss you.

It is such a tragedy to lose such a fantastic person in such circumstances. She was a great landlord, very fair, approachable and down to earth. i will never forget the times when we would have an impromptu conversation over the phone and there was always a word of wisdom that she would offer.
