CECIL HOWARD CLARKE, aged 87, of “Moongate” 125 West Ridge Gap, Sandy Lane, St. James, entered peacefully into rest on Monday, February 11, 2019.
Son of the late Terance A. D. and Muriel Clarke.
Beloved Husband of Shirley Clarke.
Loving Father of Deborah Lee (Bermuda),
Grandfather of Andrew and Teresa Lee.
Father-in-law of Stanley Lee.
Brother of Norma (Odle), Keith, Frank and Noel Clarke and the late Lisle, Eric and Merle Clarke.
Brother-in-law of Merle Battersbee and Maurice Nearon, Marcella and the late Juanita, Marjorie, Ermine and Glenda Clarke and Lisle Odle.
Relative of the Jones family (USA).
A service of worship and praise celebrating the life and work of Cecil H. Clarke will take place on Thursday, February 21, 2019, at St. Mary’s Anglican Church, Bridgetown where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service and interment. The organist and members of the church choir are kindly asked to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Barbados Association for Cancer Advocacy – Hospice Project would be graciously accepted. The body of the late Cecil Howard Clarke will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 20, 2019, from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. There will be no viewing of the body at the church.

Dearest Shirley,

Please accept my deepest condolences on Cecil's passing. He was a gentleman who was generous and wise. I'm sorry that I didn't get to speak to you yesterday at his funeral but I wanted you to know that you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers at this difficult time.
