Re Charles Edghill “ Eddie”
I first met Eddie in 1980 in Barbados. Eddie was the Attorney for David Callaghan & Peter Boos & A third partner
Geoffrey from Ireland. The 3 of them owned Rockley Resort & Golf Course. Through a series of events I purchased Rockley Cluster G In 1981 for Royal Trust Company of Canada. In 1990 I sold Rockley Cluster G to
David Callaghan & Eddie Edghill. I was the chair of Rockley Cluster G from 1981 to 2002. My wife Barbara &
I spent many days with Eddie, Vanessa, Robbie & Andrew along my children Andrew, Susan & Shawn at the Duke’s Plantation.
In September of 1991 Barbara passed away. In Dec 1991 Andrew, Susan, Shawn & i brought Barbara’s ashes to Barbados. The ashes were spread in the Sea south of Barclays Park.
In Jan 1992 Eddie & I built a huge bench at Dukes Planatation. The bench was installed at St John’s Church facing the Ocean. There is brass plaque on the bench stating it was built by Eddie Edghill & David Cooper for memory of Barbara Cooper.
The Cooper Family has many fond memories of Eddie & sends Condolences to Vanessa, Robbie, Andrew & Chris.

CHARLES EDWIN EDGHILL also known as “Eddie” , aged 91, of Dukes, St. Thomas, entered into rest on February 19, 2025. Retired Attorney-at-law.
Husband of Vanessa Edghill.
Father of Richard, Christopher, Andrew and Robert Edghill.
Grandfather of Hanna, Filippa, Niklas, Adele, Bruce, Saoirse, Stella and Iarlaith.
Brother of Winston, Kathleen, Ralph, Keith and the late Arthur and David Edghill.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, March 6, 2025 at the St. Catherine Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:00 a.m. on Thursday.
