Dominic and Matthew - My deepest sympathy on the passing of your dear father. May he rest in peace.
May Heaven comfort you and all of your families, and also assuage your grief and pain.
My memories of your dear parents are of two kind, family-centred and hospitable people who also had an interesting and often witty outlook on the world and on life. Having known your dear mother from the time that I knew myself, on their marriage your dear father immediately became a member of our extended family. With their absence, the world has now become a different place: they are both missed.
May you and your loved ones have a long life.
