On behalf of my family and past office staff of Rosedale Dental Centre, I must first offer our sympathy to the entire family on the passing of Cyril who became a treasured friend and dedicated dental technician to our office with the supply of his precision workmanship on which patients always reflected with gratitude and comfort.
On my return to Barbados in 1979, he was recommended by Dr. Norman (Bunny) Hope who was my mentor and son-in-law of the island's first Governor General. Cyril was highly respected by the limited (12 member) dental fraternity and was constantly kept busy because of the dental status that existed within the population with an overburden loss of teeth. His amiable personality was a magnet to those who met him and we were always happy with his children who followed him in the profession,
May we learn from his lessons and recognize the importance of service which he gave to the dental profession and by extension, his country.
Cyril, my friend, my technician, may you Rest In Peace and Rise In Glory.

A service of celebration will be held on Saturday, October 7, 2023 at the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The body of the late Cyril Alleyne will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, October 6, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
