To: Arthur and Michelle,

Words of Condolence:

"May the love and mercy of our Lord bestowed upon you and your family during this unfortunate time. My most sincere condolences."

Words of Tribute to Elma Loetta Greene:

I was so shocked and saddened to hear of Ms. Greene's passing. When I first came to Barbados in April 2004, Ms. Greene was the first person I met. Some of my fondest memories of her are: She was my neighbour and eventually I was living with her in the same house where we got to know each other better. We shared some memorable moments like: We attended St. Thomas Parish Church every Sunday and sometimes she took me to the prayer group meetings, garden parties, we went to lunch on special occasions, she drove me around Barbados and showed me where some of the celebrities' houses are. Through Ms. Greene, I got to know some of her family. Ms. Greene was more than a friend to me, she was like a mother because if I had any problems, I can assure you I could have turned to her for help and she will always give me good advice. For that, I will miss her dearly and she will always be remembered. She was a person of high standards, she was caring and very thoughtful, especially to people she loved. One of her best traits was that she lived her life to the fullest and love to smile. Ms. Greene taught me a lot over the years I knew her.

I will forever be grateful to have known Ms. Greene.

I will forever be grateful that Ms. Greene was there at the right place and at the right time to save my life.

I will forever be grateful for spending 13 years of my life with a friend like her. All the memories I have shared with her will forever be cherished and remembered. Ms. Greene will forever live in my heart...and in others' hearts.

May your soul rest in eternal peace and rise in glory.
