ERMINE IONE GIBSON, aged 94, entered into rest on May 31, 2024, in the loving care of Rosedale Senior Citizens Home, Chancery Lane, Christ Church.
Wife of the late Inderl Gibson. Mother of Gina Weekes and Matthew Gibson and the late Audley and Kenny Croney. Mother-in-law of Mark Weekes, Lynne Croney and Tracy Gibson. Grandmother of Jeremy (Ana) and Andrew (Tiffany) Croney, Gary (Jyneelle) Weekes and Tyler and Dylan Gibson. Great-grandmother of Ada and Ari Croney. Sister of Joseph, John and Arthur Redman, Jeanette Hinkson and Judy Cozier and the late Gordon Croney and Mavis Fenty. Aunt and great aunt of many.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Monday, June 17, 2024, at St. John Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:00 p.m. followed by the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Monday. Mourning colours, jacket and ties are optional.
