Remembering my late dear friend, former neighbor and school mate, Evadney. Evadney always had that beautiful smile and inviting personality. Her Effervescent, Vivacious, Adoring, Debonairing, Natural, Engaging and Youthful presence will be missed.
When a loved one passes, the emotions of the remaining families are uprooted in a disheveling manner, and it does not matter if pro-longed or short illness was the deciding factor or if the cause was unexpected. We may get angry at God and ask the question, Why God, Why take him or her? Why not me? But do we truly wish it was us? That’s our inner emotions searching for answers, but we already have the answers, but are unwilling to accept God’s higher plan for our loved ones, which far outweigh any of our own selfish wishes. Yes, we want to keep our loved ones for eternity but what we fail to comprehend is that the body is but a temporary vessel in which we have been dressed to accomplish certain pre-ordained tasks on earth. When those tasks are over, and the race is run, our Spirits return to our Creator.
