FRANCIS EUGENE FRANKLIN NÉE CALLENDER, aged 67, late of 2nd Avenue, Goodings Land, Deighton Road, St. Michael and Merricks Road St. Philip. Retired Teacher of the St. Paul’s Primary School. Past student of Unique High School, Girls Foundation School and the University of The West Indies (Cave Hill Campus). Beloved member of First Class Toastmasters Club.
Daughter of the late Cecil and Lucilla Callender née Coppin.
Cherished Mother of Lora-Ann Franklin (Teacher, Wesley Hall Infant School) and Brian Franklin (CIBC First Caribbean).
Former wife of Keith Franklin.
Sister of Agatha White (UK) and Cleveland Coppin (Canada).
Sister-in-law of Gerald White (UK).
Cousin of Jeanne Sealy.
Relative of the Scott, Coppin and Farrell families of Christ Church.
Friend of Loretta Alleyne, Edith Jones, Barbara Charles, Pat Blackman, Aloysius Blackett, Joyce Cossey, Helena Edwards, Judith Lorde, Yvonne Brathwaite and Family, Jill Phillips (UK), Monica Moore, Annette Weekes, Celestine Gittens, Margaret Griffith, the late Angela Johnson and Arlene Forde and many others.
The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Saturday, November 09, 2019 for The Sacred Heart of Jesus Roman Catholic Church, Grove Road, St. Philip, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. No mourning colours by special request as an item of green can be worn in her memory. The body of the late Francis Eugene Franklin will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, November 08, 2019 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
