HAZEL VALERIE BYER-HORSFORD, late of 227 Lighthouse Lane, Atlantic Shores, Christ Church died peacefully on June 30, 2022, at the New York Presbyterian Hospital.
Daughter of the late Arthur and Undine Byer.
Wife of Gilbert Horsford.
Mother of Sherral Taylor and Keisha Forde.
Sister of Cheryl and Averil Byer and the late Patricia Byer.
Mother-in-law of Everard Taylor.
Niece of Dame Avis Carrington and the late Constance Inniss.
Aunt of Ryan Byer, Rasheeda Byer-Coward, Renaldo and Christopher Bourne.
Cousin of Ronnie, Shelley and Ian Carrington.
Relative of the Byer and Taitt families.
A memorial service of thanksgiving for the life of Hazel Valerie Byer-Horsford will take place on Friday, August 19, 2022, at the chapel of Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens, The Ridge, Christ Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. Mourning colours are optional. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.

My deepest sympathy to the Byer and Horsford families.
Last time I saw her was at a lunch down St. James for a former French Teacher of ours.
After all those years since school days, she was still a very quiet and nice person.
May she rest in peace.
