To Jennifer, Melissa and family, we send our deepest condolences to you. While I was not close with Gran for the short time that I spent with her I could see what a positive impact she made on so many of your lives. How fortunate for both you and her that she was able to experience one of the best gifts in life, the joy of not only grand children but great grandchildren. Ruth Ward nee Massiah
WARD NÉE MASSIAH – HILDA RUTH
It is with sadness that we announce her death on Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at the age of 91. Ruth was amazingly determined and courageous and will forever be an inspiration.
Mother of Andrew Ward and the late Jennifer LaPlante. Grandmother of Jennifer Clarke and Melissa Hoad. Great Grandmother of Ava and Abby Clarke and Andrew and Ivy Hoad. She will be greatly missed by so many close friends and family in Barbados and overseas.
The memorial service for the late Hilda Ruth Ward Née Massiah will take place on Wednesday, August 19, 2020 at St. James Parish Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 4:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Barbados Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated.
