Isadora White

WHITE – ISADORA VIOLET, aged 91, of Fitts Village, St. James and formerly of Winnipeg, Canada and Saint Maarten, entered peacefully into rest on Friday, April 22, 2022.
Daughter of the late Violet and Jonathan White. Sister of Cynthia Goncalves, Alphonso White and the late Dorothy Shepherd. Aunt of Gwendolyn Shepherd, Patricia Seales and Joan Power. Great-Aunt of Andrew Power and Carol Seales. Cousin of Sheila and Tony Reece, Gweneth Haynes, Daisy Hall, Eric Ward, Glenese Burnett, Marjorie Tull and Elsie Burnett. Sister-in-law of Corletta White and Antonio Goncalves. Relative of the White, Reece, Burnett and Power families, Maxine and Harry Husbands, Nola Prescod and family, Roberta and Martin Jones and family, Robert Piggott and family. Friend of Joyce Headley, Keith and Leyra Scott, Peggy and Trevor Scott, Irene Small, Myrna and St. Clair Eddy, Dr. Victor Evelyn and Stellar Evelyn, Erwin and Olivia Brathwaite, Carlton Moore and family, Bernadine Marville, Trevor Hope, Velda Messinger, Odley Jordan and family, the Parris and Hunte families.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Glad Tidings Gospel Hall, Fitts Village, St. James, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service. The cortege will then proceed to St. James Cemetery for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Wednesday. All COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
