We mourn the passing of a real friend and our thoughts, prayers and condolences go out to Bruce, Christopher and all of Jean's family. Jean taught us so much about Barbados in so many ways. She was always generous in sharing her remarkable horticultural knowledge and plant cuttings (if they were not needed for her next Chelsea exhibit). Her advice was invaluable when we re-modelled the garden at BenMar, St Michael. We have wonderful memories of sitting in the garden at Constant watching the fire-flies with a rum in hand. She was such a welcoming hostess and delightful companion who we so enjoyed meeting in St George and in London. We will miss her enormously. She gave so much to so many people over a long period. She has left a huge gap in the heart of Barbados and in the hearts of many. May she rest in peace.
