it just seems impossible that we have lost such a precious soul.....a kind loving caring compassionate and generous soul. we have known John from the first day he came to Barbados and he was a regular on our farm for his whole time here, everything always seemed better when john came round to have a look at the problem...he gave off a kind of hopeful aura and his love for animals was simply inspiring. he was one of the most cheerful people i have known, he never failed to make us laugh at something outlandish he had experienced...he brought joy wherever he went. he has stood beside me with such huge compassion and understanding each and every time I had to farewell a beloved animal. I never felt hurried to get on with it and stop grieving so he can go to his next stop. he was patient loving and understanding...he knew what I was feeling, how my life would change with the loss of that particular animal. and now I have to somehow figure out how my life will change without him to call on, to enjoy his jokes, his music his positive attitude to life and humanity. I feel blessed and so so privileged to have walked the earth at the same time as such an amazing human being. my gratitude to him is boundless, deep and enduring. he was a jewel of a human being. and the glow of the memory of him will stay with us forever. thank you, john. thank you. always. always.
Please wait...
