Rest in peace Brother Junior. My deepest condolences goes out to your family and loved ones in this time of grief. You had a real gusto for life from your first visit to our tiny church in Morne Jaloux, St. George's, Grenada to your spontaneous calls over to years and of course seeing you from time to time in Barbados. You were kind and joyful and will be missed. May your soul rest in peace.

I knew Junior when he was a seminarian in Grenada. He was so humourous and so positive - an all-around wonderful person. I'm really sorry to hear of his passing. May his soul rest in peace.

The movie Black Panther reminds us that in our culture, death is not the END, our ancestors have moved on to a greater calling. Do God's will Junior!!!

I take comfort in the saying, “No one dies until the last man calls your name”. Junior Blackman, a FRIEND to the end. My friend, Junior Blackman has gone to the great beyond and joined the ranks of the GREAT RIGHTEOUS ANCESTORS! To know Junior Blackman is to know what it is to have a big heart! Junior Blackman cared for almost everyone. Junior Blackman had an opinion, Junior Blackman had “ah stands”. Junior Blackman wanted marvelous things for the St. Patrick’s Altar servers!
Junior Blackman represents principles and has immense, immense love for his son Nathan White. He took his role as father to heart and strived to make a remarkable influence on Nathan.

Junior Blackman was the friend who could pissed me off and then call back in two minutes to say “aaa girl how you doing? Ah in hearing you ahtall”! in his highly accentuated “Father Bernard’s Gouyave, Grenadian” accent! Like I said, Junior Blackman had an opinion (chuckle)!

Junior, I am happy that I met you. I am thankful! I am hurt! I am missing you! WE are missing you! I love you and your CREW still love you. They are still grappling with the reality that they can’t call you. Your life is a gift to all us. I am proud to call you my brother, my friend, my Bajan Friend. Thank you Lord for your gift.

Rest in Peace Junior Blackman! Fly on the wings of Ra Junior Blackman.
