ALLEYNE – LIONEL VINCENT, aged 80, of Dash Valley, St. George entered into rest on October 25, 2016. Husband of Monica Alleyne. Son of the late Fitz Taitt and Marie Alleyne. Father of Ann Dear, Anderson, Alvin, Aslyn, Andrew, Avril, Nicole and Nicholas Quintyne. Brother of Hazel Harewood, Livingston Alleyne, Lolita Harding, Pat Sealy, Andrew, Kathie, Percy, Sylvia and Winsden Taitt. Grandfather of 32 and great-grandfather of 24. Father-in-law of Bishop Wesley Dear, Maureen, Ann and Valerie Quintyne, Cedric Alleyne, and Toni Lewis-Quintyne. Relative of the Taitt, Alleyne and Cumberbatch families.
The funeral leaves Lyndhurst Funeral Home, Passage Road, St. Michael on Tuesday, November 08, 2016 for St. George Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 3:30 p.m. for the service and interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home, no later than 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The body of the late Lionel Vincent Alleyne will repose in The Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Monday, November 07, 2016 from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m.
