LOUIS SYLVESTER PAYNE, aged 98, of Pleasant View, Cave Hill, St. Michael entered into rest on March 28, 2020. Retired Headmaster of St. Clement’s Primary School (now Ignatius Byer Primary School).
Son of the late Joseph and Alma Payne.
Husband of Mildred Payne.
Brother of The Reverend Canon Eric Payne and the late Thelma Payne.
Brother-in-law of Mura Payne, Eulene Taitt, Frank Taitt (Kath), the late Doreen Taitt and Lawrence Taitt (Jennette).
Uncle of Paula Brancker, Margaret Herbert and Alison Joseph.
Relative of Ingrid and Henderson Griffith, Matrid Ndife, the Browne, McClean, Maxwell, Estwick, Nurse, Inniss and Seale families.
Due to the current COVID-19 pandemic, a private service and interment took place on Friday, April 03, 2020. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
