Retired Senior Tutor (BCC), Assistant Chief Examiner (CXC), Former teacher (St. George Secondary School).
Loving husband of Cynthia Howard (Queen’s College).
Caring father of Lisa S. Howard (Crane Resorts).
Son of Leonora Elitha Howard and the late Bishop Livingstone Fitzgerald Howard of Illinois, USA and formerly of Rosegate, St. John.
Brother of Oswald (Marion), Timothy (Sophia) and Stephen Howard, Dorothy McCalister (George), Heather Wood (Shirley), Ruth Howard-Dillard (USA).
Son-in-law of the late Estelle and Athelstan Cumberbatch.
Brother-in-law of Caroline and Cameron Cumberbatch, Jocelyn Burton, Hyacinth Small, Hazael McCollin.
Nephew of Sybil Grimes and Ina Knight.
Uncle of Tracy Howard, Michael McCalister, Jessica, Julia and Erica Wood, Raphael and Timon Howard, Amara, Steven, Zemira, Zaria and Aaron Dillard.

A service of praise and thanksgiving will be held on Saturday, January 14, 2023 at Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens Chapel, The Ridge, Christ Church where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 2:00 p.m. for the service followed by the interment. The family requests masks to be worn.
Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. Viewing of the body of the late G. McFarrel Howard will take place at the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Friday, January 13, 2023 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m.
