HAREWOOD – MAGGIE ORLEAN, aged 87, of Kingsland Crest, Christ Church, formerly of Silver Hill, Christ Church. Daughter of the late Leotta Savoury and Douglas Miller. Step-daughter of the late Kenneth Savoury. Mother of Wayne and Michael (USA), Christopher (Trinidad) and Paula (Barbados). Grandmother of Natoya Phillips, Bernard, Christie and Nikisha Harewood (Trinidad), Chrissana Wilmot (Jamaica), Lyndon Harewood (USA) and Faith Harewood (Barbados). Great-grandmother of Alisha Harewood (Trinidad). Sister of Gloria Crichlow, Joan Ifill, Andrew, Dorothy, Eleanor, Louis and the late Kester, Keith and Gwendolyn Savoury. Aunt of many. Mother-in-law of Bernadette John-Harewood, Jennifer Benjamin-Harewood, Gale Furlonge-Harewood (former) and the late Carol Harewood. Relative of the Crichlow, Savoury, Carter and Miller families. Special friend of Audrey Brown, the Silver Hill SDA congregation and many others. A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, May 26, 2022 at the Cane Vale Seventh-day Adventist Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 1:00 p.m. The cortege will then proceed to Coral Ridge Memorial Gardens for the interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 11:00 a.m. on Thursday. The body of the late Maggie Orlean Harewood will repose in the Colin Parkinson Memorial Chapel, Lyndhurst Funeral Home on Wednesday, May 25, 2022 from 4:00 – 6:00 p.m. Kindly note that all COVID-19 protocols will be in effect.
