Malvern Eudora Smith née Norville, late of Scarborough Ontario Canada, originally from Retreat Road St. Lucy, surrounded by family and friends, after a long bravely fought batter with illness was taken from us on January 04, 2018, in her 88th year at Sunnybrook Health Centre in Toronto.
Wife of the late Darnley DaCosta Smith
Devoted mother of Deborah, Gail and Craig
Sister of Erma Greaves, the late Maudlyn Edwards, Elmina Hinds and Henderson Norville
Aunt of Vivian and Donna Hinds, Frances Hinds-Griffith, the late Wendy and Andrea Hinds, Anita and Joan Edwards, Karen Greaves and Sean Norville
Cousin of Peter, Geoffrey and Harcourt Griffith, Doriel King, Shirley London-Forte, Lucy Outram, Patricia Redman and many others.
Relative of the Norville, Inniss, Ifill, Griffith and Clarke families.
Faithful member of the Church of St. Andrew, Scarborough.
A service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Thursday, January 18, 2018 at St. Lucy Parish Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. for the service and interment. Flowers may be sent to Lyndhurst Funeral Home no later than 7:30 a.m. on Thursday. Rest eternal grant unto her, O Lord, and let light perpetual shine upon her.
