MARIA GLENDINE MURPHY, aged 73, of Chancery Lane North, Christ Church entered into rest on January 27, 2025. Retired Accounting Assistant of the Caribbean Development Bank. Faithful member of the St. Matthias Anglican Church.
Daughter of the late Fitzherbert and Dorothy Mason.
Mother of Carla Murphy.
Grandmother of Malik Mehter.
Sister of Yvette Hinds, Maria and Melissa Mason and Marsha Perryman.
Sister-in-law of Lester Hinds and Shawn Perryman.
Aunt of Brian and Paul Hinds, Tre and Patrissa Mason, Naya and Nahum Perryman.
Cousin of Rev. Mary Graham, Jerry Small, Suzanne Jackman, Ruth Parris, Deighton, Benjie and Clyde Maynard and Valda Griffith.
Relative of the Murphy, Mason, Estwick, Higginson, Belle, Cobham and Cheeseman families.
Friend of Angela Hynam, Sonia Hewitt, Judy Gilkes, Yvonne Edwards, Charmaine Babb, Maureen Smith, Cynthia King, the St. Matthias Church Choir, and numerous others.

A memorial service of celebration and thanksgiving will be held on Wednesday, February 19, 2025 at St. Matthias Anglican Church, where relatives and friends are asked to meet at 10:00 a.m. followed by a private inurnment. In lieu of flowers, donations to the St. Matthias Organ Fund would be graciously accepted in Maria’s honour.
